How Black Holes Die
Yes! Even black holes die. Their power decreases and they fade away. But it still takes a very long time! This process is called the Hawking Radiation process.
Hawking Radiation
The gravitational field around a black hole radiates energy, which causes it to lose energy. For larger black holes this doesn't effect them very much, but smaller ones lose energy much faster and will eventually explode.
The Hawking Radiation theroy was developed by British Physicist Stephen Hawking in 1974.
